Not All Heroes Wear Capes

Not all heroes wear capes.
Some offer well timed, much needed words of kindness.
Some make calm small talk with you in the Target checkout line when you clearly need some encouragement.
^^all while offering your screaming toddler a judgement free sticker in the same exchange.
Some make your coffee and deliver it with actual, genuine warmth.
Some care for your child before, during, or after school.
^^or your parent, or your pets when you are in need of a helping hand.
Some (literally) pick your elderly parent off the floor (or ground!) when you are unable to lift them.
Some administer life saving drugs or other life saving techniques when a loved one is faced with serious illness or even death.
Some pick up litter and leave this world better than when they found it.
Some coach you off of whatever addiction you may be using to numb the challenges of this world and your spirits tenderness.
Some take in abandoned animals.
Some offer practical, albeit unexpected words of wisdom.
Some see the light of your child(ren) and encourage them to be who they were created to be.
Some see the light of YOU and encourage you to be who you were created to be. :)
Some remind you that you are doing GREAT even on the days that it does not feel like it. ;)
Being a hero has nothing to do with with rushing into a burning building and saving kittens. Being a hero has more to do with being who you were created to be. Offering your gift of love, wisdom, patience, and grace into a physical world that is full of struggling souls. Heroes see the world for what it is and work to change their small corner of it. Their acts of LOVE and kindness have tiny ripple effects that radiate out and change the course of the universe. I firmly believe that.
Heroes take risks. They see you exactly where you are, meet you exactly where you are, and get to work showing love; and only LOVE is real.
You are someone’s hero today. I guarantee it. Just by being the brilliant, loving, magical you, you change the world, not only for yourself but for those around you. And never doubt that love, that energy ripples outward.  Be brave enough to live this truth. It’s why you are here.  Thanks so much for reading. Remember that you are LOVE and only LOVE is real. You got this and I'm cheering you on.  XOXO! Tina
